Metal Bar Stools

1) What is the difference between a counter stool and a bar stool?

The main difference is the height. Usually a counter stool is 24 inches to 26 inches in height, as measured from the top of the seat to the floor. They are commonly used with kitchen counters that are 36 inches in height. Bar stools are usually 30 to 32 inches in height and are suitable for counters that are 40 or 42 inches in height (as measured from the floor). Bar stools are more common for commercial applications.

2) How tall is an extra tall Metal Bar Stool?

An extra tall Metal Bar Stool would be 34 to 36 inches in height, as measured from the top of the seat to the floor.

3) Why is a thermoplastic finish so popular for outdoor Metal Bar Stools?

A thermoplastic finish has many advantages over traditional finishes such as paint. It is more durable and will give the underlying metal base a much longer life. It also resists fading in the sun and is easily cleaned when spray painted by vandals.
