Bradley wash fountain designs have earned a reputation for water conservation, superior performance, and multi-user functionality. In a wide range of applications in many different types of commercial environments, they have proven themselves to be not only viable alternatives to laboratories, but often preferable to them as well. Many industrial facilities, for example, require heavy duty hand washing functionality that only a deep-bowled washfountain can provide. Other public restrooms with exceptionally high traffic have a need to service as many persons as possible without.
Corner mounted units represent one of two space saving Bradley wash fountain designs. Corner units are intended to occupy the least amount of space. The sides of the bowl converge in the back, enabling them to fit directly into any free corner of the room. Corner units are made from two types of material—terrazzo and Terreon. Of the Two, Terrazzo is the most vandal-resistant and represents a mid-range price point. Able to service up to three users at a time, it is an ideal option for factories and repair shops. Its aesthetic also makes it a good choice for sports stadium restrooms. Terreon is similarly vandal resistant, but it can be cleaned with mild abrasives and is chemical and burn resistant. It is also cheaper to ship and easier to repair in the event that it is damaged. Terreon corner founts can service 1 or 2 users, depending on the model.
However, neither Terreon nor Terrazzo Bradley wash fountain designs are ADA compliant. Facilities that install them will need to invest in other ADA fixtures to accommodate disabled users.
Wall mounted washing stations are the second space-saving option in washfountain mounts. Facilities can choose from a greater diversity of model types and material builds, and they can accommodate more users. Some models are capable of handling up to 4 users at a time, making semi-circular washfountains, as they are also called, a highly desirable substitute for a traditional lavatory. Some models are also ADA compliant, so the full accessibility needs of physically challenged users can be accommodated without the need for a separate ADA station.
Material choices include stainless steel, Terreon, Terrazzo, and Bradley’s own patented material, Bradstone.
For high volume and medium to heavy duty hand washing needs, we recommend that facilities invest in circular Bradley wash fountain designs that mount in the center of the room. These handwashing stations are designed to accommodate 5-8 users and provide exceptional water conservation in high traffic environments where several users at a time need to wash their hands at once. XPB Locker supply carries several lines made from a variety of materials. There are Bradstone fountains, Precast Terrazzo models, and Terreon models, just to name a few options.
The key to choosing the right model here lies in selecting the appropriate bowl depth. Most heavy-duty industrial facilities need the deeper, classic bowl design to allow employees to wash all the way up to their elbows. Schools and public facilities can select an ADA model, however, that features a shallower bowl design and provides full accessibility to disabled persons.
We also have circular Bradley wash fountain designs in stainless steel for food packaging and laboratory environments.
