The Frequency Lavatory SS-1N is one of the latest models in our line of high technology and “green” lavatory systems.  It is an example of our design engineering that will save the building owner time and expense on installation, cleaning, and maintenance. It is designed to serve one or two users at a time and it ADA and TAS compliant.  It is designed to meet user access, safety and efficiency codes. It is also available with electric tankless water heaters which will save the building owner a significant amount of money in energy costs over the life of the lavatory.  These lavatories are built to withstand high volume commercial traffic yet they offer an attractive contemporary flowing design.

One of the more unique features of the Frequency Lavatory SS-1N is that its surface material is constructed of Terreon^® solid surface and Terreon^®RE recycled solid surface materials.  These solid surface materials are made from a blend of acrylic modified polyester resin with UV stabilizer, alumina tri-hydrate and mineral fillers. These materials are combined and fully bonded by a two-step catalyst that elevates the temperature to 230° F.  The result is an attractive yet extremely durable material.

Terreon^® solid surface and Terreon^®RE recycled solid surface materials are now GREENGUARD certified as low-emitting materials.  This program’s goals are to improve indoor air quality and protect human health by establishing acceptable indoor environmental standards for building materials, furnishings, electronic equipment, and construction practices.  With Terreon^® and Terreon^®RE surface materials being standard on our Frequency Lavatory SS-1N models, the building owner can earn LEED credits because Terreon contains 25% pre-consumer recycled content and 8% rapidly renewable material.

Our Frequency Lavatory SS-1N model features Terreon as the surface material, which has a number of inherent qualities.  It will resist and deter vandalism because it is impact and scratch resistant.  Its smooth and non-porous surface is easy to clean and maintain.  It resists the accumulation of mold and bacteria because there are no cracks or crevices to harbor these creatures.  It is chemical and stain resistant and easy to repair.  Minor scratches and damage can be sanded away. Any unlikely major damage can be repaired with a Terreon repair kit.  And Terreon can be cut or drilled with standard power tools. It is also resistant to heat and water damage and utilizes the latest technology in UV light stabilizers to achieve a high degree of UV light resistance. And when surface lengths greater than 120 inches are specified, there are joint kits available for these and other lengths.  The color is evenly distributed throughout the material and there are more than twenty colors to select from.

Our Frequency Lavatory SS-1N has other design features which make it appropriate for high volume commercial traffic hand washing applications.

The lavatories are spaced on 30 inch centers and the design of the continuous bowl, sprayhead, and end caps deter vandalism.  The contoured stainless steel access panel resists rust, corrosion, chemicals, mold, and mildew. The lavatories have a faucet style aerator and the reliable activation options include infrared, battery operated infrared, and electronic push button TouchTime® control. This lavatory is wall-hung and can be installed in 50% less time than a bank of China lavatories.
