The galvanized wave style bike rack is arguably the most efficient bike rack of any design.  Its simplicity makes it highly utilitarian both for security and space conservation.  It is weather and vandal resistant, and it offers one of the best designs for minimizing the risk of damage to parked bicycles.

The capacity of any galvanized wave style bike rack can be extended by connecting it end-to-end with identical models.  The only limitation on the number of racks that can be connected in this fashion is the length of the sidewalk, building façade, storefront, or grassy area in which they are mounted.  Both portable and permanent mounted racks can be combined in this way to create a bicycle parking area customized to the needs of schools, parks, and other public areas as needed.

Portable racks are more convenient for areas with limited traffic where theft is unlikely.  Some organizations with guards on duty, or security cameras positioned throughout their grounds, will use portable galvanized wave style bike racks to setup parking areas for cyclist attending sales, special events, or concerts.  Attempts at vandalism or theft can be quickly stopped by on duty security.  When the event is over, the racks can be removed and stored until the next event. 

Permanently mounted racks can also be ordered as either in-ground designs or surface mounted options.  In-ground mounts are particularly useful to facilities with limited sidewalk space.  They offer organizations the ability to use a grassy area near the parking lot or the sidewalk as a designated space for bicycle storage.  

The galvanized wave style bike rack can be ordered with powder coat finish or thermoplastic finish.  Thermoplastic finish, in addition to being super weather resistant, is also very easy to repair in the event that it is damaged or vandalized.  It is also a better option for facilities looking for more color choices than powder coat models offer.
