Our Lenox Z Lockers offer a unique storage option while saving precious floor space.  The uniqueness is based on the Z-design, which has an inverted L-shaped locker located on top of a normal L-shaped locker.  The shared walls of the two lockers create a Z pattern and this multi-tiered or “stacking design” reduces the amount of floor space needed.  Essentially two lockers will occupy the same amount of floor space as one locker.  This design feature will actually enable the building owner to double locker capacity of the facility. The longer portion of the L-shape is used for hanging longer garments and keeping them wrinkle free. In addition, these lockers will not rust and are vandal resistant.

The Lenox Z Lockers are suitable for temporary storage of suits, shirts, dresses, and overcoats. There is no need to fold them since there is adequate vertical space for hanging.  These lockers have become very popular in health clubs, gyms, spas, aquatic centers, and other athletic facilities.  There are several size options to choose from for these two tier lockers.  They can be either fifteen or eighteen inches wide, twelve, fifteen or eighteen inches deep, and sixty or seventy two inches in height.

Lenox Z Lockers are constructed from a tough, durable plastic called High Density Polyethylene (HDPE).  All of the lockers are built from a HDPE that consists of at least 30% post-industrial recycled plastic.  Lockers can be ordered with 100% post-consumer HDPE if desired. The color is homogeneous or present throughout the plastic.  The plastic will never need painting and resists dents and scratches. Since plastic will not rust and is impervious to water, the lockers will never rust or delaminate.  The doors and frames are built from one half inch thick HDPE and have an attractive matte finish texture. The doors have ventilation slots to reduce odor problems.  The entire assembly is extremely rigid because the frames are welded to the locker box.  The doors and frames are easily cleaned with standard industrial cleaners.  The other portions of the Z locker, sides, tops, bottoms, dividers, and shelves, are built from three-eights inch thick HDPE with a smooth finish. The top and bottom sections are welded to the frame without the use of metal fasteners. This construction design gives the locker added rigidity. The sides and back of the locker box are built from a single sheet of HDPE which gives the locker a very smooth and high-tech look.  The shelves simply slide into grooves in the sides and back of the locker.

Lenox Z Lockers are available in a number of very attractive colors. The wide range of colors gives the building manager every opportunity to match the locker color with the surrounding décor.  There are over twenty-five colors to choose from and they include gray, white, beige, deep blue, black, teal, burgundy, red, charcoal gray, buttermilk, toffee, moss, starry night, dove stone, desert stone, sky blue, spice, plum linen, bronze, hunter, and canyon granite. The 100% post consumer recycled HDPE locker model is available in moss, toffee, charcoal gray, and beige.
