Plastic Coated Steel Benches

Many companies use plastic coated steel benches to create transit stops for their employees.  Buses, shuttles, cabs, and personal vehicles driven by family members can pull into curbside pickup areas where employees wait for transportation.  This is more economical for smaller corporate campuses than polymer bus shelters that cost thousands and thousands of dollars.  Metal benches with plastic coatings can be mounted in shaded areas for a fraction of a cost.  Two or three benches can even collectively seat more persons than a bus shelter.

The same principle of economic amenity applies to public schools.  Student pickup areas in many schools are crowded, standing room only areas.  There are many students who choose not to ride the school bus who have to wait for parents to take them to and from school.  Placing benches in covered areas where they can be protected from hot sun and heavy rains makes the wait more comfortable for students.  Students who are more comfortable tend to be less disturbed.  This transfers directly to better student discipline in crowded situations.

Plastic coated steel benches can also be a valuable addition to any city park.  Typically people visit city parks with very different intentions than the people who visit national parks and state parks.  Instead of camping or hiking, most city park visitors prefer to enjoy the beauty of nature from a comfortable position.  They also enjoy playing sports and having picnics.  Seating areas are accordingly much more vital to municipal park areas.  City park benches give people comfortable places to sit and read, talk on their mobiles, visit with others, and watch their children play.

Another vertical market that uses metal benches with plastic coating is the restaurant industry.  Many restaurants now are now offering outdoor seating areas to patrons.  This also aesthetically compliments patio areas that may be part of the facility.  Plastic coated benches can be mounted anywhere near doors, or on the patio, to offer an attractive, functional compliment to their surroundings.  Patrons can sit in shaded comfort without having to crowd around the inner vestibule while they wait for tables or loved ones.  Benches can also be mounted inside vestibule areas if space permits.

The other model that is popular for outdoor waiting and seating environments is our laser cut design.  The mesh in these models is actually cut with lasers to generate a very contemporary appearance.  Like the curved rod model, the laser cut bench measures either 4 feet or 6 feet in length and comes in 9 color options.  The quality on both models is equal.  The choice between the two is purely subjective and aesthetic in relation to surrounding environment and architecture.
