The Terreon Lav Deck is the latest innovation using the unique Terreon solid surface material. It is a solid surface counter top with integral sinks or sink and coved backsplash. The deck can be equipped with an optional faucet, drinking fountain, waste receptacle, four sided drip ledge, and / or soap dispenser openings. Another option for the buyer is to order the deck without a faucet or drinking fountain and request a drilled unit for four inch centerset, eight inch centerset, or centershank faucet mounting. It is always a good idea to check local ordinances and codes for compliance issues.

The Terreon Lav Deck can be ordered with either the standard Terreon or the Terreon (RE) recycled material. Both materials have similar qualities.  Terreon is comprised of a blend of acrylic modified polyester resin with UV stabilizer, alumina tri-hydrate, and mineral fillers.  Terreon (RE) recycled is a similar densified solid surface material but it is comprised of eight percent bio-based resin and twenty-five percent pre-consumer recycled granules. Both Terreon materials are bound by a two step catalyst and heat to create a very durable and attractive surface material. Both Terreon and Terreon (RE) are certified as GreenGuard low-emitting materials.  And both materials are sold with a ten year warranty.

The Terreon Lavatory Deck has numerous inherent qualities that make it a highly desirable surface material. These qualities have made Terreon a popular choice for locations that have a high volume of commercial traffic and / or vandalism issues. In addition to being durable, Terreon is also smooth to the touch and non-porous. This smooth non-porous material has no cracks or crevices and prevents an accumulation of mold and bacteria.  It is very easy to clean and it is chemical and stain resistant. It is also impact and scratch resistant which is a highly desirable feature against vandals. Should the surface be damaged it is easy to repair with an economical Terreon repair kit.  Terreon is also resistant to heat and to damage caused by constant contact with water. There are thirty four colors available which allows the buyer a great deal of flexibility when coordinating colors and layouts. And the composition of Terreon is homogenous which means the color is evenly distributed throughout the material. During manufacture, Terreon is combined with the latest technology in UV light stabilizers. With a one half inch standard thickness, both Terreon and Terreon (RE) are workable using standard power tools.

The care and maintenance of the Terreon Lav Deck is very easy and simple. Daily cleaning can be done with standard commercial or household cleaners such as Formula 409 or Windex. Tougher stains can be removed with Ajax, Comet, Soft-Scrub and a green Scotch-Brite pad.  More difficult stains can be removed with a light sanding with 240 grit wet / dry sandpaper.  And the finish can be renewed with a maroon Scotch-Brite pad.

Terreon Lavatory Decks are ADA compliant and TAS compliant units are available.  In addition, both Terreon and Terreon (RE) are certified by NAHB to meet Z124.3, Z124.6, and ANSI / ICPA SS-1-2001 standards. The deck is approved by the Uniform Plumbing Code through the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO). Therefore it is certified for use in both the United States and Canada.
