Toilet partitions for factory restroom design must offer corrosion resistance, ease of maintenance, and multiple options in mount configurations to ensure a return on investment for the organization that procures them. 

Many factories are located in heavily polluted areas.  Others deal in the production of materials that emit harsh fumes into the atmosphere.  Corrosion resistant materials will withstand these negative atmospheres and drive replacement costs down.

The best bathroom dividers to use for factory restroom design in these areas are solid plastic, stainless steel, and baked enamel.  All three of these materials have shown a remarkable resistance to corrosive airborne particles.  Obviously as well, plastic and enamel do not rust. 

Stainless steel is specifically designed to be rust proof.  The main consideration between the three is primarily one of price.  Solid plastic and stainless steel are more expensive, but well worth the money if the factory has the budget.  Small companies with small factories may still get the corrosion resistance they need in lower cost baked enamel.

Ideally, all fixtures used in factory restroom design should be as low maintenance as possible.  This especially pertains to toilet partitions.  Cleaning time means cleaning costs, and any damages that occur to fixtures due to mistakes made during cleaning mean replacement costs. 

To get the most for its investment, facilities should again consider the benefits offered by solid plastic, baked enamel, and stainless steel as the best possible materials for toilet partition design.  These materials will last for years with only basic daily cleaning provided a few simple precautions are followed.

For stainless steel, never use anything acidic because it will permanently damage the steel.  Instead, use a sponge or soft cloth to clean with soap or detergent mixed with water.  Rinse with clear water and dry with a soft towel. 

For solid plastic toilet partitions, the one thing to avoid is a scratch pad of any kind because this will leave permanent grooves in the plastic.  A very soft bristle brush, however, can be used to remove grease stains.

Baked enamel toilet partitions are the most sensitive dividers used in factory restroom design.  It is recommended that they be cleaned with mild soap solutions, lukewarm water, and a soft cloth.  Let soap do its work without scrubbing the surface hard, then rinse with water stored in a separate bucket. 

Avoid all chemical cleaners, and avoid particularly strong detergents.  After rinsing with clear water, wipe dry to avoid leaving water marks. 

Toilet partitions must also be available in any mounting configuration needed to meet the space requirements for a wide range of factory restroom designs.  Some restrooms have very limited floor space.  Others have very low ceilings.  Partitions must be mounted differently in these environments to make the most of available space without compromising the sturdiness of the mount.
