Basketball Lockers
Basketball lockers made from high quality treated wood give basketball players plenty of storage room for all of their clothes and equipment. Players can organize everything in specific places that will let them find what they need quickly during suit up.
Each stadium locker has five special storage areas. Each area can hold a variety of things. However, when you look at a stadium locker and all five of these storage sections, you can’t help but think that some of them were designed just for certain basketball related items in mind.
The top of the locker, which is actually a top shelf, is a great example of this. It is simply the very best place to put a practice basketball. The locker walls rise up above the shelf slightly on either side, as if designed specifically to keep the ball from rolling onto the floor.
You can also put a spare pair of shoes here if you like.
Right under this top shelf, basketball lockers feature two separate storage areas that are built side by side. The first of these sections is a locking security box measuring 11X12X12 that gives a player all the room he or she needs to store valuables.
Beside the security storage box is an open cubby. Here, the player can store eye protecting goggles, elbow pads, and knee pads.
The most impressive storage sections of these basketball lockers, however, are the huge open middle sections they sport. These sections look much like doorless closets than lockers. They have chrome coat rods that across the top that can hold several practice uniforms on one side and the official game jersey and pants on the other. There is plenty of room below the coat rod for anything else players may need to store.
At the base of each basketball locker is a built in foot locker. It has a ventilated door to provide continual air circulation that will keep several pairs of shoes and game socks dry. This foot locker also has a special feature that makes it very well suited for smaller locker rooms with limited budgets.
The top of the foot locker is strong enough to support the weight of a person sitting down. Players can use this area as a player’s bench when putting on socks and shoes. While this feature is not needed in most schools, and certainly not the NBA, it is a great feature for day camps and civic centers that can save a great deal of money on benches and still offer their players high quality basketball lockers.
