Bradley Toilet Partitions
Bradley toilet partitions have been used in several recent projects all over the country. They have demonstrated durability and aesthetic that reveals a recession proof power of application to multiple interior restroom designs.
One such project was the building of the first LEED certified museum in Wisconsin. It was actually a children’s museum constructed to teach kids green living practices. The partitions used in the project were made from Bradmar®, Bradley’s special material manufactured from recycled HDPE plastic.
Because many children who go to the museum recycle milk jugs, this shows them how the very materials they recycle can be used to build environmentally sound architectural structures.
Another application revolved around the aesthetic of Bradley toilet partitions. It was the remodeling of an airport in Colorado. The architects decided to design a restroom interior with a color scheme that reflected the scenery of the Rocky Mountains. To do this, they chose stainless steel and fusion granite
Accordingly, fusion granite and stainless steel were chosen as the partition materials. Not only did they mirror the colors of the landscape, but they also offered the vandal resistance essential to a high traffic restroom like we see in airport terminals.
Vandal resistance was also a factor in a similar project in North Texas. Solid plastic Bradley toilet partitions were used in a recreational facility because they can be wiped clean of graffiti and repaired with a heat gun if scratched.
In yet another construction, a sports stadium was furnished with Bradmar® Bradley toilet partitions, partly because of their aesthetic, and partly because of their durability. Particularly in stadiums, both visitors at times, and angered members of defeated, visiting teams, can take out their anger on lockers and partitions.
Rather than using metal, which is easily dented, plastic was a much better choice. It contributed a much cleaner, and less industrial, look to the stadium restroom interiors. In particular, the primary aesthetic attribute of plastic in this case study pertained to the color of the Bradley toilet partitions themselves. The color chosen by the director, a dark gray with a speckled texture, made the perfect complement to the gray, black, and silver of the building interior.
Such a contribution was very important to this facility. Since repeat ticket sales are the core of this facility’s business, creating a very powerful attraction factor in the building’s interior design has had a direct impact on generating tangible, financial returns on investment.
