Aluminum 4C Mailboxes


1) Why are the 4B Mailbox systems suitable for private and custom use but not for USPS delivery?

The USPS changed their standards of mailbox design and at this time the 4B no longer meets the standards for USPS delivery. The 4C is suitable for USPS delivery and meets all of the new standards.

2) Are 4C Mailbox systems mandatory on all new construction?

Yes. As of October 6, 2006 the 4C Mailbox systems were mandatory on all new construction and major rehabs.

3) Are your Aluminum 4C Mailboxes ADA compliant?

Yes. The USPS 4C standards includes a requirement to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
