Commercial restroom
wall mounted soap dispensers are used in all sorts of restrooms. Surface mounted units are mounted to
the wall at a convenient height that allows users to easily reach them. Push up valve activation uses gravity to
pull liquid soap down into the user’s hand. All Bradley liquid soap valves operate
best with any vegetable oil or coconut oil hand soap.
There are two basic
model styles that most vendors sell.
Units are made from polyethylene or stainless steel. Obviously, the polyethylene units
represent the lower end of the price spectrum. They are typically used in very small
buildings with limited budgets and relatively few restroom users. The stainless steel units are more
expensive, but they also hold more soap and therefore are the preferred type for
typical public restrooms with medium or high traffic usage.
The most basic of our
commercial restroom wall
mounted soap dispensers is the globe style unit. It is made from translucent polyethylene
and can be ordered in either a zinc-plated steel bracket or a chrome-plated
plastic bracket. This unit holds 16
ounces of liquid soap and is recommended for low-traffic or medium-traffic
restrooms with multiple lavatories.
It has seen great success in many elementary schools, small and mid-sized
churches, and small offices. A
push-up valve activates the flow of soap, which is pulled down by the forces of
gravity. Vacuum flow control ensures that only a measured amount of soap is
placed into the user’s hands.
A slightly larger commercial
restroom wall mounted soap dispensers features a basically cubical design with slightly more volume than the globe. It is mostly used in restrooms that
witness occasional traffic.
Examples include those in very small convenience stores, gas stations,
and rural public libraries. Like
the globe unit, it too features a polyethylene container that holds 24 ounces of
liquid soap. It can also be used to
hold lotion, and it operates with the same push-up lever as the globe unit. The valve is corrosion resistant and
secures to the base for better vandal-resistance. The wall mounted unit also controls the
amount of soap that a single push of the lever releases.
On the higher end of
the price spectrum, there are two stainless steel commercial restroom wall
mounted soap dispensers. Again,
there are two basic designs that builders can choose from. One surface mounts horizontally to the
wall; the other, vertically to the wall.
Both models are ADA compliant because they require less than 5 pounds of
force to trigger the activation mechanism.
Seriously, if you
anticipate usage of your restroom my multiple persons throughout the day, or if
you have handicapped persons visiting your site, it is recommended that you
invest one of our stainless steel commercial wall mounted hand soap dispensers
because they last longer, are ADA compliant, and require less refilling.
The vertical commercial
restroom wall mounted soap dispensers differ from the horizontal unit
primarily in its all steel construction and method of activation. It features an ADA compliant push-up
stainless valve that uses gravity to dispense a controlled amount of soap. It is the most expensive unit of the
four, but also the most durable and vandal resistant as well.
