Terreon®
commercial sinks are ideal for every type of
factory restroom design. The high-quality aesthetics of executive
restrooms can be accommodated by attractive finishes and unique molding
styles. The need to service
multiple users in shop areas can be accommodated by multi-station units. Office areas in factories can also enjoy
superior technology with full ADA accessibility options as
well.
Architects can call XPB Locker Supply and provide us
with details of their factory restroom designs. Using a variety of Bradley resources, we
can find the best products recommended by Bradley for that particular
application. Matching specific
products to specific facilities is our specialty. Considerations such as low-cost
maintenance, space management, water conservation, and hygiene are factors we
always take into account in every project.
Bradley Terreon® commercial sinks for factory restroom
design offer a tremendous cost savings in the form of decreased installation
time. For example, the Express Line of Lavatories
can be installed in only half the time it takes to install a china
lavatory. There are almost ¾ fewer
plumbing connections required for any sink from this line. The average sink requires over 90
connections, whereas an Express lavatory requires less than
30.
These lavatory systems are built to be cleaner and safer
than china bowl sinks. Each
lavatory has an integral shelf above the water line, along with a continuous
bowl. This makes it possible to
thoroughly clean the unit without water and cleaning fluids spilling out onto
the floor. It also
keeps soap from spilling on the floor, which helps create a restroom environment
that is safer thanks to fewer slip hazards.
In
factory restroom design, not only do we want to keep water off the floor, but we
also want to avoid wasting water to begin with. It is very important to use commercial
sinks that self-regulate the flow of water to the user. The old lavatories could not do this
because water flow was regulated by turning on a handle. People could easily forget to turn the
handle off, or they could turn it partly off and still leave water
running.
Nothing close to this old technology is recommended in
modern factory restroom design. It
is too prone to waste and too vulnerable to deliberate vandalism. A much better commercial sink is one
that features a standard flow rate of .5 gallons per minute. This is a standard set by the department
of energy water conservation.
These
commercial
sinks feature IR touch-free controls or push-button. Both feature automatic shut off, so in
terms of water conservation, both are equal. IR touch-free controls are, of course,
more sanitary to use because they minimize the risk of pathogens on a person’s
hands being transferred to a sink surface area and on to another person’s
hands.
Commercial
sinks made from Terreon® are far stronger than
china lavatories or all acrylic solid surfaces. It is very resistant to damage
through chemicals, stains, burns, and impact. If workers in a turbulent economy grow
disgruntled and attempt to vandalize these lavatories, they will be hard pressed
to succeed.
Even if they do dent or scratch the surface, and this is
highly unlikely and very hard to do, Bradley has economically priced repair kits
that can easily repair the damage.
