restrooms and many other exclusive locations. The main component, the Terreon
bowl, is a technologically advanced material that is both durable and beautiful.
Terreon is a very dense solid
surface material composed of polyester resin and other ingredients. A variation
of Terreon, called TerreonRE, is a similar dense solid surface material but it
is composed of bio-based resin and recycled granules. Both materials are very
durable and resistant to stains, burns, chemicals, and impacts. Minor surface damage can be easily
removed / repaired with a standard commercial cleaner or a fine grit abrasive.
In the event the damage is more significant, the manufacturer offers a simple
and affordable repair kit. Both Terreon and TerreonRE have earned the GREENGUARD
certification which signifies they are low-emitting materials.
One of the
unique features of this contemporary commercial bathroom Lavatory
sink is that it is vandal resistant. The Terreon bowl, is extremely durable
and very difficult to damage. The water activating infrared sensors will
automatically stop the water flow after a thirty to forty-five second
period. This will nullify any
vandal’s attempt to trigger constant water flow. The lavatory was designed to
conceal the air valves and water supplies within the support frame. This
eliminates tampering by vandals. In addition, the infrared sensors,
streamformers, and top cover are also concealed or secured within the
fixture. This design makes it much
more difficult to tamper with these parts. And other parts can be concealed in
an optional trap cover. All of
these vandal resistant design features will yield savings to the building owner
over the life of the lavatory.

contemporary commercial bathroom sink is the relatively easy to
install. The entire lavatory arrives pre-assembled and the installation is
straightforward. Compared to a bank of china sinks, this lavatory has up to
one-third fewer connections. With
fewer connections the manufacturer estimates that the installation time will be
cut in half. The infrared sensors installed in the lavatory are the latest
generation of technology. They use a conical infrared transmitting beam to
detect movement within the bowl perimeter. The detection area does not exceed
the bowl perimeter and therefore false activations are eliminated. After the
hands are removed from the bowl area there is a timing turn-off delay of two or
three seconds. The sensors are not affected by variations in skin colors or skin
tones. And the sensors are not
affected by direct sunlight or bright lights.

Lavatory is available in 24 beautiful colors. Some are solid colors and others
resemble natural stone. Some of the more novel color names for these bowls
include soapstone gray, hillside, riverstone, stardust, artic chip, and sand
trap.
