 Institutional showers have many codes, safety and barrier parameters to qualify and comply with different types of organizations from High Security Prisons to Juvenile Detention facilities. Designed for Safety and Suicide prevention, fixtures are free of rigid hooks, bars sharp or rough edges which could be hazardous for occupants or security personnel. No exposed mounting fasteners are allowed in cell areas. Fixtures are completely secured from pipe chase with rust resistant hardware for walls up to 12" thick.
Wall Showers
Shower panels should be recessed with beveled edges for a tight wall fit. Stainless steel anchor nuts are welded to the back of the panel and soap dish to accept 1/4" - 20 studs which are rear mounted at the top, center and bottom of panel. Recessed soap dish, showerheads and push buttons are secured from the back of the panel for vandal-resistant installation. Handicap wall showers Hose assembly has supply elbow, quick disconnect, vacuum breaker, 60" hose, hook with eye, and hand-held showerhead.
 Cabinet Showers
Cabinets are fabricated in heavy duty type 304 Stainless Steel in all welded all welded construction. All exposed welds ground smooth to eliminate all accessible seams and voids. The underside has a stainless steel reinforced center. All welded cabinets come equipped with the sever service shower head, installed from the inside out. Concealed piping is included in chase wall as well as soap dish and towel hook. Valve choice of Air Metering or Touch Time(R) Valve operation. ADA Showers Hose assembly has supply elbow, quick disconnect, vacuum breaker, 60" hose, hook with eye, and hand-held showerhead with optional door and ramp.
Severe Service Shower Head
Wall Showers and Cabinet Showers designed under penal code requirements come equipped with a severe service institutional model showerhead that features a chrome plated brass arm with stainless steel flange. Showerhead meets ANSI flow requirements with a 2.5 GPM flow control. Chase mounted Severe Service Shower Heads are low maintenance, passes sand, grit and normal line sediment. Shower Head also reduces possibility of lime buildup and corrosion. Adjustable threads turn freely and are isolated from water. These shower heads are Economical, under normal line pressure, showerhead uses minimal water. Heads are also Vandal Proof, Allen Wrench head set screws secure all showerhead components and the smooth profile of the showerhead discourages tampering.
