Our Plastic Laminate Lockers are an upscale alternative to the dull and dingy lockers of the past. Step up to lockers that offer you quality, beauty, and elegance at an affordable price. We use state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and an attractive array of colors and design options to help you create an environment that will impress others.
Our Plastic Laminate Lockers are constructed of industrial grade particleboard and then covered with a durable plastic laminate. Our lockers are available in single tier, double tier, and double tier “S” style configurations. They arrive at your facility fully assembled and can also be ordered in extra wide configurations. These extra wide lockers have become very popular with professional clients that desire extra space and are in wide use in universities, professional sports facilities, spas, fitness centers, ball parks, public facilities, medical centers, corporate fitness centers, and other facilities. The extra wide lockers are available in six attractive colors including mahogany, cherry, maple, blue, black and gray.
Many of our customers have questions before making their purchase decision for our Plastic Laminate Lockers. Perhaps the most common question is how to present the exterior appearance of the lockers. Some customers include an interior designer or architect to help them with this decision. We can also help you with some suggestions about the exterior appearance. For example, you can order your locker doors in various colors rather than a single color. You can alternate the color of the locker doors and arrive at a checkerboard appearance. Or you may specify all the doors on the top tier one color and all of the doors on the bottom tier another color. Or you can alternate the colors of the locker frames and arrive at a vertical striping appearance. Any of these combinations are easy to achieve and will add a little extra color and design to your facility.
Another important question that our customers have is the size of the locker. Before their purchase of our Plastic Laminate Lockers they should determine three things – how much space is available for the lockers, how many lockers are needed, and how much storage space each locker should have. One can determine the amount of space available for lockers by measuring the wall space that has been assigned plus any island space that will be used in the middle of a room. The number of lockers needed will usually match the demand during peak periods of use or maximum occupancy. The third and last consideration is the size of the lockers. Usually this is determined by your clients’ requirements and the geographic area. Northern areas of the United States usually need larger lockers to store heavy coats and clothing during the winter months. Southern areas usually do not have this requirement. If your clients have a relatively large amount of equipment, back packs or gym bags to store then larger lockers would be appropriate.
Our Plastic Laminate Lockers can be outfitted with any standard type of locker lock. However, the most secure lock on the market is the thru-bolted padlock hasp. It is very difficult to defeat this type of lock because the hasp passes through the door and attaches solidly to the side of the locker.
Our Plastic Laminate Lockers are easily installed by the maintenance staff of the facility. They are fully assembled so there is no “assembly required.” Sometimes a general contractor will arrange for installation on larger projects.
