What are cubby lockers?

They are storage lockers made from solid plastic. They are designed in a grid configuration that makes smaller storage spaces, or “cubbies”, that you can use to store practically anything. We can create any number of grid combinations you like to make the locker customized to your particular storage needs.

Examples of applications we have serviced in the past include the following:

• Museums that use them for open display storage.
• YMCA’s that use them for supply storage.
• Elementary schools use them for storing classroom supplies.
• Wineries can store wine bottles in them.

Cubby lockers can be built in several different styles. The most popular is the free standing model that sits vertically against the wall. In compliance with ADA application rules, each unit must be raised off the floor. You can either purchase an optional 4 inch base, or you can pour a concrete base to hold the unit up.

Finishing panels can be mounted on the locker to make the sides and the tops of cubbies appear a contiguous whole rather than a series of panels. You can also get corner assembly models that need only one side panel; and you can choose a recessed model that installs directly into a wall niche.

Cubby lockers have a number of features that any business type can find useful.They are made out of tough, solid plastic that never needs painting, resists dents and scratches.

• They are impervious to moisture and resistant to bacterial buildup
• They are made from either 30% pre-consumer recycled HDPE plastic or 100% recycled plastic
• They are vandal resistant
• They come with a 20 year warranty against rust, delamination or breakage under normal use
• They ship fully assembled

Our Factory Engineer CAD will every customer cubby locker configuration to your personal specifications, edit, and final approval before production. Every cubby is made to spec in this way and takes 4 weeks to make.

You can clean these lockers with a soft wet cloth. Noticeable grease, dirt, and grime that may get on the surface can be removed with a Simple Green or DoAll cleaning solution and a cloth or soft-bristle brush.

If your locker is vandalized with graffiti, you can take it off with any industrial Graffiti Remover that is safe to use on a plastic surface.
