Vented wire mesh lockers are less expensive than all welded metal models and plastic models with vented doors. They are ideal for schools, private club locker rooms, fitness organizations, and workspace storage needs. There are six basic model designs you can choose from.

1. Single tier lockers have one vertical compartment that can hold clothing and athletic equipment like hockey sticks or baseball bats.
2. Double tier lockers have a divided vertical compartment, and each division is as an individual locker space.
3. Six tier box style have box-like locker spaces and are the most commonly found locker model in middle and high school general P.E dressing rooms.
4. Extra wide single and double tiered models are 25 percent wider than their standard counterparts.
5. Extra wide triple tier lockers are 25 percent larger than six tier box tier counterparts.

Athletic gym lockers can be customized with sloping hoods, end bases, front bases, locks, nameplates, and fillers for all model corner, tops, and vertical sections. (Fillers are needed when you install a row of lockers over obstructions like pipes and columns.)

To give your lockers a finished and professional appearance, you can invest in sloping hoods, end bases and front bases. This also keeps the locker environment cleaner and healthier.

Each of the six different models of athletic gym lockers offers you several different options as to how you lock the locker. The first is the simple latch option we have all seen and probably used at some point in our upbringing. The latch supports a hanging combination lock that the student brings from home.

The latch option is less expensive, but if the student forgets his or her combination, then you have to cut the lock off. Worse yet, some students are only pretending to forget their combination and are hiding things in their locker that you cannot access without damaging the lock.
