Key Aspects of the Military TA-50 Storage Locker

The locker cannot be pried open on the sides.

The military TA-50 storage locker ships factory preassembled so it can be quickly installed in barracks.  It’s all welded construction makes it one of the most rugged lockers you can purchase.  All welded design prevents it from being pried open on the sides, top, or back.  The sides, bottom, front door, and back are made from 14-18 gauges of heavy duty steel.

Pry resistant retainers are welded to the door frame to secure it to the sides of the main locker box.

The locker is ventilated so that clothing, uniforms, and any equipment that might get rained on can dry out. The sides and doors are constructed in a diamond perforation pattern.  This allows air to fully circulate throughout the unit.  Any soiled materials placed within the locker will dry quickly provided there is ventilation in the room.  When wet materials dry faster with circulated air, dry uniforms and day clothing will more than likely remain fresh even if they are stored inside the same space.

The extra wide design gives armed forces personnel more room to store both clothing and equipment.

The military TA 50 storage locker measures 42” across from side to side.  This, combined with a 24” depth and an 84” height, provides plenty of room for personal clothing storage.

Shelving positioning creates compartments for organization.

Shelves are made from solid 16 gauge steel.  The upper shelf measures 16” from the top.  The lower shelf measures 18” from the bottom.  This creates three storage compartments that allow individuals to organize the various military issue and personal items they store.

The larger compartment at the bottom is large enough to store military boots, personal shoes, and small packs.  The smaller shelf at the top is ideal for personal items or packs.  The large vertical middle section that is created between the upper and lower shelves provides a stable platform for large packs stored near the bottom with plenty of room to hang clothing and vests near the top.

A curtain rod and two large hooks can be used to hang various items.

The steel curtain rod that spans the upper portion of the military TA 50 storage locker can support a large number of clothes on hangers.  There are also two large hooks attached to the bottom of the lower shelf.  Heavier items, such as ballistics vests and Kevlar vests, can be placed on these hooks.
