Fiberglass children’s picnic tables add a vivacious sense of color to your recreational dining facility. It takes far more heat than that normally found in the typical play area to even begin to melt fiberglass. In order to protect the table from fire damage, however, a protective coating of Ultra Gel measuring 20ml in thickness helps give the tabletop and seats a measure of fire retardant resistance.    Ultra Gel also helps protect the surface from extreme freezing temperatures and heavy rainfall.

The seats in our portable fiberglass children’s picnic tables are built around wooden reinforcements. The tabletops themselves are reinforced on the underside by an X brace that attaches to the legs of the table.  The frame consists of OD legs that support at total of four seats.  The frame and the X brace are protected by a powder coated finish or by galvanization, depending on user preference.

This is a great model to use for wheelchair access because all you have to do is have us leave off one or more seat arms so disabled children can roll their chair up to the table’s edge with plenty of knee clearance.
