Our Square Angle Iron Picnic Table is a durable picnic table with many applications.  It can be used in almost any setting from poolside to parks to campsites to convention centers. It resembles a conventional picnic table but with numerous advantages.  It offers seating on “all sides” and entry and exit is easier with our latest “walk through” design.  The rounded corners of the table top and benches are a safety feature and eliminate painful “corner accidents” and also permit easier entry and exit.

The Square Angle Iron Picnic Table is fabricated from heavy duty steel and has four wire mesh expanded seats.  The table can seat eight to twelve people comfortably.  The picnic table is designed for outdoor use and the mesh design allows water, rain, and snow to pass through.  However, the picnic table could also be used in indoor areas such as convention centers or athletic areas.

There are a number of options that are available with the Square Angle Iron Picnic Table. It is available in a portable style handicap frame that features three seats.  This is an ideal solution for families or organizations that wish to offer picnic table seating for the physically disabled. Also, the standard table can be shipped with optional leg protectors and anti-skateboard tabs.  In addition, a center hole in the table will secure an optional umbrella. And there are 16 different colors to choose from, which allows the buyer to match the picnic table color with almost any environment. The available colors are: Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Bk-Green, Teal, Blue, Navy, Purple, Burgundy, Brown, Beige, Sandstone, Gray, and Granite.

The Square Angle Iron Picnic Table is constructed from 1 5/8 inch tubular steel which gives it more than enough strength to handle the heaviest loads.  The bench seats are constructed from eleven gauge perforated steel mesh which is welded onto the angle iron frame.  It is also mildew, stain, and fade resistant as well as rust proof and maintenance free due to its tough thermoplastic coating.  This coating is easily repaired when necessary and it also is easily cleaned when spray painted by vandals. This thermoplastic coating is applied to the galvanized steel to increase the longevity of the table to decades.  The underside of the table is covered in a black thermoplastic coating.

 There are various mounting options available for the Square Angle Iron Picnic Table. The portable mount / surface mount option is very flexible.  There are surface mount holes in the legs of the furniture which may or may not be utilized.  If these holes are not utilized then the table can be easily moved from one location to the next.  If the holes are utilized then bolts can be used to secure the table to any surface.  The most common mounting surface for the portable / surface mount option is concrete. Usually there are discs that are welded to the tubular understructure that rest flat on the ground. The in-ground mount option resembles the surface mount option but it is used primarily for mounting in grass or soil. This mounting technique is different in that the tubular understructure extends an additional 18 inches with a piece of flat metal welded to the bottom.  This 18 inch extension is placed into an appropriate hole in the ground and then filled with concrete.  Depending on the mounting option selected, the total weight of the table will be from 310 – 320 pounds.  The handicap model weighs 240 pounds.
