For cells with multiple occupants, Individual lavatories can be purchased that feature a seamless, welded plate enclosing the bottom of the bowl.  These sinks are vandal resistant and can take up to 5000 pounds of impact force. 

Individual stainless steel toilets can also take up to 5,000 pounds of impact force.  They, too, are standard prison equipment in cells shared by multiple inmates.  Toilets can mount in either triangular pipe chases or angled walls.  There are a number of configurations that exist that will accommodate cells of different sizes and prisons of varying security levels. 

When budget permits the purchase of combination units, the most utilitarian fixtures in our prison equipment inventory are the toilet lavatory water closet units.   They can be installed in everything from local jails to maximum security centers, including solitary confinement cells. 

Combination units secure from behind cell walls and can withstand up to 5,000 pounds of impact force on the edge of the toilet bowl.  With no rough edges or hooks, maximum security is ensured against suicide attempts or weapons manufacture.  Toilets and lavatories are self draining to prevent vandalism through overflow.  Units are all welded, contiguous stainless steel with no crevices, so cleaning is fast and easy to ensure sanitation and minimizing of odor building. 

In men’s prisons, urinals are also standard prison equipment.  They can be configured to service up to 8 users at a time, or they can be installed individually between stalls.  Trough, straddle, washout, and blowout configurations are available.  The blowout configuration is most popular because debris evacuates immediately, minimizing the possibility of vandalism by overflow.  Continuous flushing rims minimize odor by washing all four walls at once.    

Showers are essential prison equipment in all detention facilities.  There are both cabinet and wall shower designs available in our online inventory.

Wall showers with a simple rough in connection are ideal for saving on installation costs.  Like cabinet showers, wall units are also vandal resistant and have tension released towel hooks and several low profile valve options.
