Kids’ fiberglass picnic tables add a vivacious sense of color to your recreational dining facility. Fiberglass is more resistant to high temperatures than equivalent models manufactured from ABS plastic. Fiberglass will not get soft in the hot sun.  If there is a nearby electrical box or outdoor heater, this will not affect the constitution of the surface, either.  Fiberglass only melts at extremely high temperatures, so it would take a major fire to destroy it.  Even then, considerable protection is afforded to the surface by a protective coating of Ultra Gel that measures 20 ml in thickness.   In addition to its fire retardant qualities, ultra gel also protects the table from extreme cold, freezing temperatures, and heavy rains.  It is an attractive material also, so it adds aesthetic to product durability and performance.

Kids’ fiberglass picnic tables are built around wooden reinforcements. On the bottom of the tabletop, a metal brace in the form of an X reinforces the eating area.    The frame is built of four OD legs that support four seats.  Both the X brace and the OD legs can be powder coated or galvanized to make them more durable, impact resistant, and weather resistant.

We also have models that can be permanently mounted. The tabletop on this model is supported by a 6” diameter, single post frame.  Four seats arms extend out from the central post and the seats are positioned at the tops of these arms.  One or more seat arms can be removed from the table to permit wheelchair access for a disabled child.

Fiberglass can easily handle the typically rambunctious behavior of highly energetic children. The tabletop and seats can handle considerable impact without suffering any noticeable, visible damage.

Single post tables can be permanently placed either in-ground, or they can be surface mounted to concrete sidewalks, patios, or indoor flooring.
