Powder Coated Bathroom Toilet Partitions
These toilet dividers if you maintain them on a regular basis. They take only a few minutes to clean. We recommend that you mix warm soap and water and use a sponge or a soft cloth to wash off any dust or grime that has accumulated on the surface. Avoid using chemical cleaners or industrial detergents, as this can damage the powder coating. After you have thoroughly washed the surface, rinse it completely with clear water.
Stainless Steel Bathroom Toilet Partitions
Most people regard stainless steel as the most aesthetic of all restroom partition materials. In some ways, however, it is the most delicate. It can be scratched, so care must be taken when cleaning. NEVER use any type of abrasive on stainless steel because it can quickly ruin the finish.
Stainless steel dividers ship with a protective film that keeps from getting scratched. This film often leaves a residue when the film is removed. The best way to remove this residue is to mix mineral spirits with a warm soap and water solution. Wipe down your partitions by following the grain of the finish.
Even if this film is not visible when you remove the film, we recommend that you wipe down your dividers if you are using any acid-based cleaners to clean the floor or walls around the stall. Anything acid-based that splashes on the partition surface can mar the finish. When cleaning stainless steel on a routine basis, use only sponges or soft rags and rinse thoroughly with clear water after you are finished.
Solid Plastic or Phenolic Bathroom Toilet Partitions
Solid plastic is one if the strongest materials we use to build bathroom partitions. That does not mean, however, that it is indestructible. It is best to avoid using anything highly abrasive to clean your partitions because this can leave scratches. You can use a soft-bristle brush to clean surface areas, or simply use a mild soap and water solution and a soft cloth. If you are cleaning graffiti off you’re your partitions, use a mild industrial graffiti remover.
Bathroom Toilet Partitions Cleaning Guidelines
Bathroom toilet partitions must be regularly cleaned. Failure to do so can lead to the accumulation of grim and dirt over time. Like anything else that accumulates over time, this buildup will become increasingly difficult to remove. Ideally, maintenance crews should wipe down partitions every evening before closing the building. However, if this is not practical, bi-weekly or weekly cleanings should be enough to keep your partitions looking as good as new.
It is important to use the right cleaning solution and tools to avoid damage to your partitions. The following guidelines provide basic instructions for cleaning powder coated bathroom partitions, stainless steel bathroom partitions, phenolic bathroom partitions, and solid plastic bathroom partitions.
Phenolic Partitions are best cleaned with mild cleaning solution and a soft cloth. Phenolic can also look brand new with periodic applications of furniture wax.
