KD Stainless Steel Cabinet Showers

Industrial showers are often installed during renovations.  KD stainless steel cabinet showers are perfect for these projects because they offer several advantages over wall anchored shower fixtures. 

The walls of stainless steel walls, , and the reinforced receptor pan floor with two inch stainless steel drain piping, helps remodeling contractors to avoid the cost of installing waterproof block wall shower enclosures. 

The cabinet is made out of 14 gauge stock, and the interior piping is manufactured from Type 304 stainless steel.   12 gauge stainless steel is used to make brackets and supports. 

Fabricated shower cabinets are assembled with security fasteners.  The bottom of the receptor pan is further reinforced by a heavy stainless steel center support connecting the assembly to the floor. 

KD stainless steel cabinet shower feature superior panel construction and security.  Vandal resistant screws hold the cabinet assembly together.  The receptor pan is welded together as a solid surface, and the welds are ground smooth to get rid of any seams or voids.  The receptor pan is also reinforced from below with heavy stainless steel center supports. 

In order to make the entire unit as resistant to vandalism or accidental damage as possible, waste pipe connections are anchored.  There is also a vent grill built into the KD stainless steel cabinet shower that is 6 and a half inches by 7 and a half inches square. 

The cabinet also features a convenient tension release towel hood on the outside of the entrance, and it also features a stainless steel soap dish that is connected to the cabinet by concealed fasteners.  The unit is assembled in the factory prior to shipment, but the valves are shipped loose for installation in the field.

Now speaking of valve assemblies for the KD stainless steel cabinet shower, there are two options you can choose from.  One is a single temperature air metering system with 5-60 second timing cycles that can be adjusted from the chase side only. 

The other is a touch timed push button and solid state, digital circuit that opens and closes solenoid valves.  The flow time is electronically controlled at 60 second intervals.  This valve assembly operates on either 24 volts or 110VAC with an optional transformer.

KD stainless steel cabinet showers are designed as free standing units.  In areas where abuse may happen, they can be anchored to the wall with accessory wall anchors.

Every interior and exterior cabinet side, with the exception of the receptor, is polished with a number four satin finish.  The receptor has a non skid surface.
