Fixed Budget, Moderate to Heavy Restroom Traffic, Low Risk of Vandalism

Facilities that fit this description can choose either baked enamel on the low end of the price spectrum or plastic laminate restroom partitions on the moderate end.  Both materials are corrosion resistant and durable enough to withstand moderate to occasionally heavy restroom traffic.  Organizations that typically install them include:

• Schools with low risk of vandalism
• Churches
• Small retail stores
• Small to medium sized restaurants

Plastic laminate toilet partitions are somewhat more durable due to the heavy duty hardware that they are constructed with.  They are normally chosen for public bathrooms that witness heavy traffic for extended periods of time and certain periods of the day.  Organizations that install them include:

• Larger schools with low risk of vandalism
• Churches with services throughout the week
• Large restaurants
• Shopping malls

Larger budget, risk of vandalism, higher level of aesthetic expectations

Solid plastic restroom partitions feature both exceptional appearance and exceptional durability.  They are very difficult to dent or scratch.  Even if they are deliberately vandalized, they do not have to be repainted because the color is contiguous throughout the entirety of the material.  Another benefit they offer is complete resistance to moisture.  Water beads quickly on the surface of solid plastic and evaporates.  Without water, mold, mildew, and bacteria do not have opportunity to grow.  This helps maintain a much cleaner public bathroom, and it makes for much lower maintenance costs.  Solid plastic toilet partitions are particularly suited for high humidity environments, which makes them a favored choice for any locker room or shower room facility.  Examples of organizations that use solid plastic include:

• Schools
• Colleges & Universities
• Stadiums & Arenas
• Theme Parks
• Swimming Pool Locker Rooms
• Health Clubs

*** If budget does not permit the purchase of solid plastic, the next best option is phenolic core.  Phenolic core is not as vandal resistant as plastic, but it is very impact resistant and very well-suited to public restrooms in large facilities with big crowds.  Examples of these include:

• Government buildings,
• Smaller natatoriums
• Campgrounds
• Smaller sports stadiums in suburban communities

Large budget, upscale public bathroom, hygienic environment

Stainless steel restroom partitions are renowned for its exceptional appearance and high level of sanitation.  While expensive, it is the preferred choice for organizations looking to invest in an ultra-clean, upscale restroom.  Examples include:

• 5 star restaurants
• Hotels
• Hospitals and clinics
• Class “A” Office Buildings
