Urinal partitions are used to create barriers between separate urinals. To some extent or the other, all resist moisture, rust, and vandalism. They are therefore easy to clean, and they can last for decades.

Different types of materials like baked enamel, solid plastic, plastic laminate, and stainless steel represent are used to make urinal partitions. All kinds of styles and sizes, as well as different colors, can be purchased to match any interior architecture.

You should think about several things when you choose a style and design.

The upfront cost is the first thing to think about. While some materials might not be as impervious to rust and vandalism as stainless steel, it makes sense to pay for something cheaper that will get the job done almost as well.

Climate is another consideration. Humidity affects things. Facilities along the Gulf Coast need to think about how moisture content will affect partition material. It pays off to invest in something that will resist humidity and minimize the chances of corrosion.

Vandalism is another big consideration. When people write on partitions, the things they write offend other people. This is never good for an organization’s reputation.

While there is no stopping people from doing this, we can stop the results of what they do. We can all use urinal partitions made of nonporous materials. If the moisture in the ink or paint is blocked, then the mess can be wiped off with a towel and basic cleaning fluids.

Stainless steel is the most vandal resistant substance on the market. It has its own attractive sheen too, so when it is cleaned, it does not need to be resurfaced or repainted.

Phenolic partitions are the very next best thing to stainless steel. Phenolic will resists moisture, bacteria, and oil. It is almost as hard to damage as stainless steel, so many health conscious organizations opt for it.

Plastic and baked enamel also offer a certain amount of moisture resistance. In areas where traffic is low, or in restrooms where vandals are very unlikely to be found, you can use these more affordable urinal partitions and they will serve you very well.

Color choices make it possible for you to choose any look you want no matter what size urinal partition you select, or what type of material it is made from. Large restrooms that have a noticeable flair for décor can complimented with special colors. Smaller, simpler rooms can be decorated with basic colors.
