Factory restroom design requires shower systems that are easy to install, conserve water, and serve as many users in as little time as possible. That is why all commercial showers sold by XPB Locker Supply ship preassembled from the factory.

Column showers are often chosen by architects when they have room in the center of the bathroom to install a group shower. A freestanding column shower can anchor directly to the concrete floor. It includes its own cast iron drain.

As it draws water from a single source, it supplies that water to multiple users through separate shower heads. Alternatively, if piping through the floor is not practical, pipes in the ceiling can be used, and shrouds can conceal the overhead piping. Privacy stalls can be erected between shower heads to give each employee a personal shower stall.

In high-pressure manufacturing facilities, time is of the essence to get products shipped to market by deadline. Factory restroom design in these environments calls for shower systems that will service the most users in the least amount of time. Wall showers are ideal for this purpose. Each panel contains multiple spray heads supplied by a single water source. Water pressure is determined by the pressure in the pipes. In addition to being ideal for very busy production environments, wall-mounted Panelon showers are also recommended for many factory restroom remodels. This is because worn-out valves and pipes can be bypassed to supply water to the shower system without tearing out entire sections of the wall.

In manufacturing environments where overhead costs run extremely high, the conservation of water resources is vital to buttressing profit margins. Industrial showers for factory restroom design in these plants need to serve as many users as possible without wasting water. We recommend Bradley Econo Wall Showers for this. This is a two or three station shower system that ships preassembled from the factory. It surface mounts to the wall in stainless steel housing. One source of water supplies the entire unit through copper tube supply inlets, which in turn supply water to shower heads. The unit can be connected to the water source either through the top cover or through the back of the assembly.

Econo Wall Showers are also very compact. They are better suited to commercial bathroom walls with limited space. Partitions can be placed between shower heads to provide privacy to users.

In commercial bathrooms with more open space, however, users may want larger personal shower stalls. The wall-saver shower is the best shower system to order for this factory restroom design. It features the same engineering design as the Econo Wall Shower Assembly. However, it is a wider unit, and it covers more of the bathroom wall. Placing partitions between the shower heads on this assembly will create much larger shower stalls.
