Facial tissue dispensers save on toilet paper costs. These commercial bathroom accessories are often overlooked in factory restroom design. They shouldn’t be. Without facial tissue dispensers, employees will use paper towels or toilet papers as substitutes. This causes supplies to run short and creates unnecessary costs.

Multipurpose dispensers save on wall space. These are some of the most useful commercial bathroom accessories for factory restroom design. There are several different kinds that you can choose from. Some install near sinks and feature built-in trash cans, paper towel dispensers, and soap dispensers. Others install inside of commercial restroom partitions. These combination units dispense toilet seat covers, toilet paper, and feature a napkin disposal for units installed in women’s restrooms.

Multipurpose dispensers should be used in factory restroom design as much as possible in the interest of saving wall space.

Napkin dispensers are recommended for women’s restrooms. Women working on assembly lines who have only 30 minute lunch breaks may not have time to go to the store to buy necessities. Including these conscientious, and often neglected commercial bathroom accessories, saves production time and shows respect to all members of the team.

Medicine cabinets are recommended to store basic first aid supplies. First aid kits are normally stationed throughout manufacturing facilities. However, it is common sense to include them in factory restroom design as well. These commercial bathroom accessories can store basic antiseptics, band aids, gauze, and aspirin within easy reach of employee lockers and employee showers.

Hand dryers are recommended alongside of paper towel dispensers. Few people are ready yet to give up paper towels completely. In fact, when it comes to factory restroom design, it may not be completely practical to give them up altogether. Employees often use paper towels to wipe grease off their arms and hands.

However, paper towel usage and costs can be significantly reduced by encouraging employees to use an energy efficient hand dryer to dry hands and arms, and to use paper towels to wipe off grime and dirt. Eventually enough people will get used to the new generation of hand dryers they will no longer feel the need to rely on paper as much. In the meantime, these new, improved commercial bathroom accessories are a must-have for every new building. Energy efficient models are recommended for every factory seeking LEED certification, and for every company that wants to brand itself green by conserving paper.
